Spooky season has finally arrived! It is the best time of the year. We have the Area 51 raid coming up on September 21st. Will there be aliens? I don’t know, but Area 51 might be too far for some of us students to attend. However, there is plenty of spooky season activities to do a lot closer to home, like getting the seasonal pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks or go roller skating at our local Roller Towne. Every Friday and Saturday from 6:30 to 9 pm, starting on October 4th, is a different spooky character to skate with from our favorite scary movies. At Vossler Farms there is a “King of the Jungle” corn maze to get lost in. The goal there is to find all 12 checkpoints in their 10-acre maze. Also at Vossler farms, you can buy a pumpkin from their pumpkin patch. Lastly, hunting for a costume at a Halloween store. The Halloween stores are up and ready for business now. Spirit Halloween is now open in the Sequoia Mall. There is also another Halloween store open in the old Flex-It gym across from the Visalia Mall. Those are a couple of spooky season things to do a whole lot closer to home.
