On Wednesday, March 22, 2017, on the Westminster Bridge in London, UK, an unnamed man used his car as a weapon as he ran over several people. After he got out of his car, he stabbed a police officer before he was shot and killed.
So far, four people have died, and twenty others are severely injured. The area around the attack, which includes the Parliament, immediately went on lockdown. Civilians were ushered into the viewing compartments of the famous London Eye. It is being treated as a terrorist attack until further details are uncovered. The attacker was uncovered and his name is Khalid Masood and he has been in communication with violent extremists. This attack was the first mass-casualty terrorist outrage since 2005 when someone bombed the London Public Transportation System.
