El Diamante is Edged out by Clovis North in a Close Battle Until the 7th

On Saturday, March 4th, the El Diamante Miners took on the Clovis North Broncos at home  in a Coca-Cola Classic matchup. The Miners came into the game off a huge win over San Joaquin Memorial winning 13-2. The Miners started out strong as they battled hard throughout the first 6 innings with the game being tied 2-2. The game went downhill in the 7th as it was walk after walk and many errors were made. Parker Boswell started on the bump for the Miners, giving up only one hit against the Broncos. Zachariah McCorvey came in to relieve to strike out 4 and have two ground outs. Things were looking up for the Miners heading into the 7th. The Miners were not playing to their fullest in the last inning as they watched the Broncos score 4 in the top of the 7th.
