According to CNN, five people were killed in a fatal car crash in Sydney, Australia. The driver drove over pedestrians on a busy street, and two men, a woman, a 10-year old girl, and a 3-month-old baby were caught in the crossfire.
It has been reported that the 3-month-old baby tragically died later that evening in the hospital. Altogether, at least twenty people were injured, and the authorities were able to shoot and wound the suspect before putting him into custody.
At first, the suspect got into an argument with some acquaintances several blocks away and eventually stabbed and kidnapped a woman. A witness told Sky News that there were “bodies flying everywhere”.
Six people are in “a critical, but stable condition” and ten other people are being treated. On top of that, four children were very badly injured, and a baby tragically died.
