The highly anticipated and long awaited Views From the 6 is set to release on April 16, 2016. Drake first mentioned this album back on August 6, 2014, explaining that the 6 is a representation of his hometown Toronto. Since announcing the album, Drake has released two projects “If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late” and “What a Time To Be Alive” with Atlanta based rapper Future. Drake choose 4/16 as “Views From The 6” release date as a way of showing homage to his hometown of Toronto. 416 being the area code of his hometown of Toronto. The tracklist of the album is yet to release, but expected it in the near future. The album is expected to do big numbers, especially since his beef with Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill. Drake is known for making hit records and with time comes progression, so expect big things to come from “Views From The 6”. “Views From The 6” will be Drake’s fourth studio album and will be released by Drake’s OVO Sound record label.
