One of the most popular times of the year for people to visit Disney Parks is from September 11th to November 1st. Most of the attention is drawn by the Halloween decorations, as well as halloween activities for all age groups. They transform The Haunted Mansion into a haunted halloween ride with the characters from The Nightmare Before Christmas, where you can see all the characters as well as hear their story. The fast-paced ride, Space Mountain, is changed into Ghost Galaxy where there is an electronic ghost/demon character as well as meteors that come out from the darkness at turns on the ride. The entire park is decorated with extraordinary decorations and on Main Street, there are hundreds of hand-carved pumpkins where you can find none like the others. On certain days, the park closes at either 6:00 or 7:00 for people who paid for regular one-day tickets that day. However, if you buy a $77 ticket for Mickey’s Halloween Party, you can enter the park up to 3 hours before closing time and stay until midnight for trick-or-treating, and one-on-one contact with the characters. Although the tickets for Mickey’s Halloween Party are sold out for 2015, you can still go during normal park hours, and all the festivities will be back in September of 2016.
