Miley V. Nicki

Sunday at the VMA’s, host Miley Cyrus, had been called out by the one and only Nicki Minaj. Whether it was staged or not, the tension was still there. The entire ordeal started with Miley saying in an interview “if you know Nicki Minaj, she is not too kind.” Miley-for some reason- shared her unnecessary thoughts about the feud that had to do with Nicki Minaj and Tay Tay (Taylor Swift), a feud not involving Miley. At the beginning of the award show, Nicki had performed her new hit song The Night Is Still Young with Taylor Swift proving that the feud was over, and they were one of Hollywood’s most  powerful  friends once more. After the performance Nicki Minaj took home the award for Best Hip Hop video for her hit single Anaconda. Prior to dancing on her way to the stage and thanking her fans and pastor, she had told Miley “now back to this b**** who had a lot to say about me in the press. Miley what’s good?” Nicki  wowed everyone watching with not only her amazing dress but her fighting words. Miley came back with her own fighting words that were indirectly about Nicki Minaj, probably because she was too scared to actually mention Nicki’s name as she has before. Miley had said “I lost this award back in 2008 and I was fine with it. Whatever, because it’s no big deal! It’s just an award and I persevered!” It was completely obvious that she was talking about Nicki “being supposedly” upset with Taylor Swift winning an award for her Bad Blood video over Nicki’s Anaconda video which really celebrated voluptuous women. Miley succeeded in having a show to remember.
