El Diamante Miners just completed a two week tournament in Clovis. They went 4-5, throughout the whole tourney playing against the top teams in the nation. They did good, every team they played, they hung in and battled until the end.
They have a lot to work on to get better for the season, but it will be fun to see what the future holds for these talented athletes. The season so far is going good; the team is really starting to collect chemistry. They are a bunch of hard working guys, that in the end, hopefully puts them in a chance for the Valley Championship.
“I feel like this season is going to be a great one”, Adam Chavez said, “ we have great players, but even better coaches and we all have one goal and that’s to win Valley. We know it is going to be hard, but I can see in my teammates that they are willing to put in the hard work to get there and that’s what I love about them. We all have each other’s backs and that’s where it starts to win games.”
