Who the El Diamante Homecoming Princesses really are

Ashton: Band, Christian Club.

Summer: Varsity volleyball and AP classes.

Katelyn: I am involved in varsity volleyball and concert choir.

Brooke: Chamber and concert choir and the musical.

Savannah: I am the choral department Vice President and I have played softball, water polo, and I also play soccer outside of school and if I have the time to, I will possibly play at El D this year.

Anything outside of school as well?

Ashton: Occasionally I play piano or keyboard for church, and I am part of the youth group at church. I am also taking a nurse assistant class as well.

Summer: Club volleyball.

Katelyn: I play club volleyball outside of school year-round. I am also very involved in church and love spending time with family and friends.

Savannah: I am also involved in different church activities at the Nazarene church; I was recently given the title of Visalia’s 2013 Teen Idol on September 6th for the city and I will be singing for the city council meeting on Monday night.

Brooke: Visalia First.

Do you have any siblings?

Ashton: Jacob, a senior, and a little brother at La Joya.

Summer: Three, all of the seasons.

Katelyn: I have one sister who is a sophomore in college at Biola University.

Brooke: Younger brother, Austin Chapa, a junior.

Savannah: I am the youngest of six kids, three boys and three girls.

What has been your favorite part of being a homecoming princess?

Ashton: Playing all the games with the other princesses.

Summer: Being able to bond with the whole court and playing all of the games with them.

Katelyn: My favorite part about being in the homecoming court is the experience. I have loved getting closer with these girls and I am more than blessed by the friendships that I have grown with them.The games have also been very fun to participate in!

Brooke: Dressing up, getting closer with the homecoming court and being more involved in the school.

Savannah: Being able to spend it with four of my amazing friends.

Why did you choose your escort?

Ashton: He has been my best friend since kindergarten and I knew I’d have a lot of fun with him.

Summer: I chose Noah as my escort because he is just a fun person and I knew we would have a great experience together.

Katelyn: I chose my escort because he has been one of my best friends for a couple of years now, and I knew it would be a great time with him!

Brooke: I chose Tyler because I’ve known him for a very long time and we always have fun we are together.

Savannah: Blake and I have known each other since diapers and I love his company. He’s an amazing friend and someone that I consider family.

What is your favorite place to go to lunch?

Ashton: Shanghai.

Summer: Healthy Japan for sushi.

Katelyn: My favorite place to go to lunch is Chipolte or Port of Subs.

Brooke: Amigos.

Savannah: I love eating lunch at Chili’s.

Celebrity crush?

Ashton:  Alex Pettyfer.

Summer: Liam Hemsworth.

Katelyn: Justin Bieber.

Brooke: Max Irons.

Savannah: Jordan Bryant is my celebrity crush! <3<3

What is your favorite color?

Ashton: Green.

Summer: Green.

Katelyn: Blue.

Brooke: Black.

Savannah: Yellow.

If you could tell the students and teachers of El D one thing, what would that be?

Ashton: Don’t drop that dun dun dun.

Summer: I am so happy to go to a school where there are so many amazing students and a staff that has such amazing school spirit.

Katelyn: Ephesians 4:1-3. As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.

Brooke: Quality not Quantity.

Savannah: I would like everyone to know that I enjoy eating my mashed potatoes with peach cobbler, and also that El Diamante is the best school in Tulare county!
